Dr. Cetin is Professor of Medicine and Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and is chief of the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department at the Hacettepe University Medical School.

Dr. Cetin received his undergraduate training and his medical training at Hacettepe University Medical School. He completed five years of PM&R residency at Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department of Hacettepe University in 1997. He has been working as specialist (1997–2000), assisstant professor (2000–2003) associated professor (2003–2010) and professor (2010-) at Hacettepe University PM&R Department.

Dr. Cetin belongs to a number of societies including International Societiy of Clinical Densitometry, Turkish Osteoporosis Society, Turkish Society of Rehabilitational Medicine, Turkish League Against Rheumatism, Turkish Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

He is Editor in Chief of the Juarnal of Rheumatology and Medical Rehabilitation since 2009. He is national spokesperson fort he field of osteoporosis, bone mineral densitometry, and rheumatology.

Dr. Cetin’s major research interests are related to clinical investigation of osteoporosis, bone densitometry and hand rehabilitation.

He has been published over than 50 papers in national and international journals and books including case reports, original and review articles and book chapters .
